Mum helped my drill holes in the back for the power cords. This cabinet will hold a small TV on the top, and game consoles in the shelves area. I still need to tidy it up and seal it before it comes inside. The green is the same tin of paint that I have done a few other projects with. I only bought a small tin yet I still have more than half a tin left.
When the weather is fine, you will "Find Me Out By The Shed" painting, decorating and creating.

It looks great, Lesley.
ReplyDeleteVery green!
I'm contemplating painting my entertainment unit white. It is a similar colour wood as yours. I am worried about getting into the deep shelves and painting the backs of them. Once I start, if it is too hard, I would have to go through with it somehow.
Maybe one day I'll work up the strength to take the plunge.
I hope when I do it turns out as well as yours.
I understand about getting into the deep shelves. I am working on the inside shelves of the kitchen hutch at the moment. I had my head inside the cupboard, my body being contorted, paint fumes and the summer heat to contend with. Let's say that I didn't get as much done as I wanted to today. But it will be nice when it is finished. I have to keep the end goal in sight.
DeleteLooks fabulous ... great colour for a playroom. Remarkable difference it makes to the piece. Well done!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Narelle. I can't wait to put it in the playroom. I just have to re-arrange the room first and de-clutter. I am waiting for the school holidays to be over with first. Can't de-clutter toys with 4 boys around.
DeleteWell done again Ms Talented One :-)
ReplyDeleteReally love that colour - was looking at some quilting material close to that green.
Thanks Judy. I love the green. I want to bring some more green into the house. I think a few plants in nice pots would be nice.
DeleteSo did you buy the fabric? What are you making?
